Why Omegle Is Extremely Dangerous

Omegle and its clone sites represent one of the most dangerous online spaces for children. The premise is simple: connect via video or text with a random stranger anywhere in the world. In practice, this means your child is one click away from:

Adult nudity and explicit sexual acts
Predators who specifically target these platforms
People who will screenshot or record them
Requests to perform sexual acts on camera

The Clone Problem

Although Omegle shut down in November 2023, dozens of clone sites immediately appeared. These include:
