Account Profile & Parental Controls Child's Profile Viewing Restrictions Choose the highest rating you're comfortable with — everything at that rating and below will be available. Netflix no longer uses named categories like "Little Kids" or "Teens"; you select a specific rating for each profile:
Young children : TV-Y, TV-Y7, GOlder children : up to TV-PG / PGTeens : up to TV-14 / PG-13Adults : all ratings, including TV-MA / R

Lock each profile separately. Consider locking:
Adult profiles (your content)
Teen profiles (so younger siblings can't access)

Even on standard profiles, Netflix has a "Kids" row and category with curated children's content.
The Kids section is a content category, not a restriction. Only Kids profiles actually limit what can be watched.
Each child should have their own profile with:
Age-appropriate maturity rating
Their own recommendations
Separate viewing history
4-year-old: Kids profile
10-year-old: Standard profile capped at TV-PG / PG
15-year-old: Standard profile capped at TV-14 / PG-13
